Moto Coat Meets Canadian Tuxedo

Happy Sunday!

This week I am sharing with you something I wore to ‘casual Friday’ at the office. I work in a tall office building in downtown Vancouver.

There, generally people are either ‘business formal’ or ‘business casual’. But thanks to the chill crowd at work, and my adventurous nature, I am always experimenting with what I can sneak into my work outfits! Until the day my boss actually tells me to stop wearing my leather leggings to work, I won’t stop testing the water. (My partner in crime, Doris, and I are planning on doing a series of those “How to” posts. I think one should be “How to wear your real clothes to work.” It should be fun, but that’s for the summer time. And I will explain more about who Doris is in March).

So back to the outfit, I went for the ‘denim-on-denim’ look with a pair of high-waisted skinny jeans and a shirt that’s a few shades lighter. (One tip when you do the denim-on-denim look: go for a darker colour bottom and lighter colour top, so it doesn’t look like it is too heavy on top you are going to fall over!) The moto coat I have on here is very Acne Studios inspired. See here for the spring no-fur version.

Hope you enjoy!
